About Us

Wahoo Baptist Church, established in 1819, represents the same desire from 1819 today.  Members met to see God move on behalf of the community.  Today. Wahoo Baptist still desires to see God move in our Community.  At Wahoo you'll find a group of people seeking every opportunity available to reach our community.  

What can I expect?

Wahoo is a friendly church, surrounded by a loving atmosphere.  You will find old-fashioned gospel singing, old-fashioned, Biblical, relevant preaching, and members with an old-fashioned desire to see our community changed.  

Where do I belong?

You will find a place for each age group at Wahoo.  If you prefer Sunday School with people of your own age, join us at 9:45 each Sunday morning.  If you would like somewhere for your children to enjoy their own worship experience, we have a dedicated Children's Church for ages 6-12.  We also have a nursery available for little ones.  

Who will I meet?

You will enjoy fellowship with people who are Christ-minded and centered as well as having a desire to help your family reach their spiritual fullness.  Our first desire is to see people come to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Our second desire is to find a place for you to serve.  

What do we believe?

Wahoo Baptist Church follows Scriptural commands as dictated by the King James Bible.  We follow Baptist distinctives, but we place the command of Scripture above all affiliation, denomination, politics, and tradition.  "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16).
