Of all the billions of people who have lived from the time of Creation to our present day, there is one person who stands out, unique above all of the rest. His name is Jesus. To fully explain Him is impossible. To ignore Him would be disastrous. To reject Him would be fatal.
In Matthew 27:22, Pilate posed the question, “What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ?” This is the most important question that an individual will ever answer in their lifetime.
We Need to Understand the Truth About the Savior
The eternal purpose of Christ was and is to seek and to save that which is lost.
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
2 Peter 3:9 - The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
The truth is that we have ALL broken the law of God, and the Bible teaches us that sin separates us from God.
Isaiah 53:6 - All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Isaiah 59:1-2 Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: (2) But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
According to the Scripture, the wages of sin is death, and every person who has not trusted Christ as their Savior will be eternally separated from God in hell.
James 1:15 - Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The greatest part of the story of the life of Jesus rests in the truth that Jesus died for our sins on the cross of Calvary, and not just for your sins, but for the sins of the whole world. If you will repent of your sin and believe on Him, he will save you today, and you too can make Heaven your eternal home.
Ephesians 1:7 - In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Colossians 1:14 - In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Rom 10:13 - For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
John 11:25 - Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
