Dr. Mark Stroud

Pastor Mark Stroud has been the Pastor of Wahoo Baptist Church since November 2001. Pastor Stroud grew up in nearby Gainesville, GA, where he attended Gainesville High School. After graduating high school, he went on to attend the University of North Georgia where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance. Pastor Stroud was saved as a young teenager at Faith Baptist Church in Gainesville.  It was during his freshman year at the University of North Georgia that Pastor Stroud surrendered his life to the call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Early in his ministry, Bro. Mark was the Youth Pastor at Harmony Street Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Willard Thomas. After serving almost 8 years as a youth pastor while at the same time, working in the banking industry in Gainesville, Wahoo Baptist Church called Pastor Stroud to be their Pastor. Pastor Stroud is married to Mrs. Amy Stroud who has faithfully served with him in every capacity of their ministry while at the same time raising two wonderful sons, Riley and Carter. The Lord has graciously opened many doors for Pastor Stroud to travel and preach in revivals, youth meetings, and camp meetings all across America.
